CARMODY, Anna Sidor Anna Sidor Carmody was born December 4, 1922 to John and Rose Sidor and died February 11, 2019 at Juliette Fowler Nursing Home. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Dallas with her family in May 1928. Anna graduated from North Dallas High School in June 1940 and attended Draughon's Business College. After starting work, she took several night courses at Dallas College of SMU. She was married to Thomas J. Carmody, Jr. on August 30, 1947 and they remained in Dallas. Anna worked in her husband's CPA practice in North Dallas from 1975 until his retirement in 1992. She was a life-member of the CPA Wives of Dallas, an honorary member of the US Marine Raiders Association, and also belonged to several bridge clubs. Anna was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1997, brother, Andrew J. Sidor in 1993, and sister, Veniece Sidor Stewart in 2017. Anna is survived by two sons, Thomas J. Carmody, III and his wife Kathleen Wathen of Dallas; and John Michael Carmody and his daughter Shannon Rae Carmody of Wylie. She is also survived by her sister's husband, Johnnie D. Stewart, a nephew, David V. Stewart, and two nieces, Ann Baird and Andrea Sidor. Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Mausoleum, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220, celebrant Monsignor Leon Duesman. The Rosary will be held at 1:00 pm, followed by Mass at 1:30 pm on February 23, 2019. Entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the .
