Andrew Oldinsky, 85, of Manahawkin, N.J., formerly of Jersey City, N.J., passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, with his daughter by his side.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Monday, Feb. 25, 2019, at St. Mary of the Pines, 100 Bishop Ln., Manahawkin, with entombment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Manahawkin.
Andrew was predeceased in 2016 by his beloved wife, Olga, and his loving son, Michael, in 2013.
Andrew is survived by his devoted daughter, Christine and her husband, Alfred, and his cherished grandchildren, Avalon, Matthew and Jessica. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephew, Debra Marotta, Donna Kebler, Brian Kebler and Ann Barry, and his sister-in-law, Helen Kebler.
Andrew was a veteran of the U.S. Army, earning the rank of sergeant. He served his country proudly in the Korean War.
He worked at Jersey City Hospital in the Maintenance Department. He was employed with them until his retirement, at which time he and Olga moved to Manahawkin to be with his family. He greatly enjoyed the times spent with his grandchildren.
