Machinist, Army veteran, avid bowler, and lifelong Yankees fan
Anthony J. Antonelli ("T Bird"), 87, of West Orange, N.J., passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019.
Visiting will be held on Thursday, Feb 21, at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange (340 Main St., West Orange) from 4 to 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Philomena's Church, 386 South Livingston Ave. in Livingston, N.J. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, N.J.
Anthony was born and raised in Orange, N.J., and moved to West Orange in 1979.
He was a machinist working for TRW Inc. in Mountainside. Anthony was an avid bowler and did bowl a perfect game. He was a lifelong Yankees fan. T Bird could often be found at Al's Auto in Orange. Mr. Antonelli proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Anthony was the beloved son of the late Rocco and Louise Antonelli, cherished brother of Maria Dietrick, John Antonelli, and the late Elvira Spinelli. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
