Anita Marie Creveling
Born November 26, 1932, Anita Burke Creveling was a true saint. 1 of 7 children, daughter to Veryl (Mimi) and Ed Burke. She grew up on Capitol Hill and attended Forest Ridge. Anita raised her family in Bellevue, WA and Kirkland, WA.
Rumor has it she got into Dominican College in San Rafael, CA because she beat the Mother Superior at Scrabble. She was an English teacher back in the day. The New York Times crossword puzzle in ink was a daily ritual.
Anita was most proud to be the mother of Dan Creveling Jr. (Kelly), Diana Davis, Linda Wojciechowski, Joe Creveling (JoAnn), Tim Creveling (Nicole), Liz Kihlstrom (Mark), 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
There was nothing she wouldn't do for any of her children. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and helping her children with their business ventures. If it was within her super-power, she would move heaven and earth to make it happen. And she did it all with joy, love, and an infectious laugh that would light up any room. We think all who knew Anita agree, our lives are richer and more full as a result of her and she will be dearly missed.
Service will be held Friday, August 10th at 11:30am.
