In 1965, Ann married Joseph Brucken in Toledo, OH. They moved to Seattle, WA in 1967. Ann received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Washington in 1971. She worked in financial management and enjoyed fitness activities in her spare time. She also loved to travel, and with her husband Joe she explored Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada, and the United States. She particularly enjoyed regular trips to Hawaii.
