Born November 4, 1932 in Aberdeen, WA, Andy Ballasiotes passed away October 18, 2018 in Issaquah, WA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a multi-talented man; an Air Force veteran, successful owner of numerous Hallmark card shops, private pilot, woodworker, photographer, fisherman, Harley biker, adventure seeker, jokester and loyal friend to many. Andy truly left his mark and will be dearly missed by friends and family for his sense of humor and big heart.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida and daughter, Diane. Andy is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Mary Kay Ballasiotes of Charlotte, NC and their children Alexander, Anna & Michelle; daughter and son-in-law Stephanie & David Rosengren of Mercer Island, WA and their children Kate, Michael & Sophia; brothers George and Angelo and many nieces and nephews, and companion Sharyn Wallin.
Those who knew Andy are invited to join us to share memories with each other and his family any time between 1:00 and 4:00 pm on Saturday 10/27/18 at Andy's "cabin", 120 Stuart Ridge Rd, Cle Elum, WA 98922. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diane Ballasiotes Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o WSU Foundation, PO Box 641925, Pullman WA, 99164-1925.
