1926 ~ 2019 Please see viewing information at www.russonmortuary.com/notices/beth-woozley Born September 14, 1926 in Vernal, Utah, and passed on peacefully, surrounded by family on January 19, 2019. Beth married Darrell "Chub" Lewis on May 3, 1945 in Vernal, Utah. Together they owned and operated a large farm in Oblong, Illinois until 1954, after which they relocated to Salt Lake City. Beth loved all things family and community, and was actively involved in the early organizing of Rose Park sports, including Rose Park Boys Baseball, Football, Pep Club, and she organized the Rose Park US Lawn Tennis Association for Boys & Girls. She participated in Lady Lions for many years. Beth worked as a nurse at the VA and Holy Cross Hospitals, as a Dental Assistant, a Dental Assistant School Teacher, and as a Pharmacy Tech at the VA and Hill AFB Hospitals.
Beth was preceded in death by two husbands, Darrell 'Chub' Lewis and Weldon Woozley, her son, Joe E Lewis, 2 grandchildren, Cindy Jo Lewis and JD Lewis, a great-granddaughter, Jasmine Lewis, 3 sisters, her brother, her nephew, Robert 'Bob' Richards, and many friends and relatives. She is survived by 3 children, Ted 'TR' Lewis (Jane),their children, Anessa Lewis, Niki Oberle, Fletcher Davis, and their families, Randy Lewis (Tammy Chabre-Lewis), their children, Nate Lewis, Jordan Lewis, Jon Horrocks, and Brad Horrocks, Buffy Lewis Schwieger (Mark), their children, Jazmynn Pok, Justin Pok, Jaqi Pok, Kendall and Emory Schwieger, Jody Lewis Butcher (widow of Joe E Lewis) their children, Sham Sorenson, Kasie Wright, Wesley Lewis, Alex Lewis, and their families. Beth leaves 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and her niece, Carol Davey and her family, all of whom she loved dearly.
