Charlie was born in Grand Junction, CO, to Golda Elizabeth Niblack and Clyde Herman Trammell. She married James Earl Schoonover on June 20, 1982 in Grand Junction, CO, where they lived until they moved to Draper, UT in July 2007. Charlie passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2018, in Salt Lake City, UT, due to complications following an illness.
Charlie was an oil painter. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crafts. She loved dogs, horses, horseback riding and barrel racing in her youth. She especially loved wildlife and living near the mountains.
Charlie is survived by her spouse, James Earl Schoonover, daughter, Patty McCann Miller, son, Michael Joseph McCann, Jr., step-daughter, Teresa DeLage, and step-son, Jeffery Schoonover. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Larkin Mortuary Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South. A viewing will be held from 5:00 - 6:15 p.m. prior to the services. Interment will take place at Orchard Mesa Cemetery, Grand Junction, CO.
