Arlin Jack Randall is sharing jokes with his father once again and answering to his mom that his testimony is burning brightly. Our loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend passed away at home, August 22, 2018. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho to Franklin Jack Randall and Stella Josephine Hansen, June 21, 1940, (which his mother always said was the longest day of the year). He was a very honest and talented accountant having studied at Stevens-Henager Business College and Idaho State University. He served in the Southern States Mission for the . He also served his country in the National Guard.
Arlin married Kathleen Ann Cooney November 21, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple. He worked at LeVoy's, Smith Administrators and finished his career at Allred Soffe Wilkinson and Nichols Architecture.
He served faithfully in many ward and stake callings including the Hispanic Initiative Mission. He treasured the dear friendships he made over his lifetime. He loves his Heavenly Father and his Savior, Jesus Christ.
Arlin loves his dear family and is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, Laura (Gregory) Ball; Lisa (John) Reid, David (Sarah Robinson), Christopher (Brittney Nye), Gregory (Tonya Ostergaard) and seventeen precious grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Bagley and Elouise Hancock. He was preceded in death by parents; and sister, Anarene Burton.
A viewing will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at Butler 20th Ward, 1355 East 7200 So., Cottonwood Heights, with a viewing prior from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens.
