Farmington, UT-Our dear mother, Belva May Peck Provost, 83, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2018, from complications due to congestive heart failure. Mom was born December 12, 1934 to John Lyle Peck and Margaret W. Crittenden. Belva was raised by her grandparents Lucian Millard and Edith May Woodard Crittenden in Francis, Utah. Belva married Ralph Dale Provost in the Salt Lake City Temple on May 20, 1953. Belva had a wonderful life and was truly a genuine person, loved by everyone. She worked in banking, finance and retired as City Manager for Fruit Heights City. She attended South Summit High School where she graduated as valedictorian.
She is survived by her children Robin Dee Provost (DeLynne Thurman Thompson) and Mark Lee Provost (Bob K Porterfield), brothers Kenneth, Lyle, Larry, and Lynn Peck and sister Leslie Deveraux. Proceeded in death by her husband Ralph, and sisters Renae and Linda.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 Main, Farmington, UT. Friends and family may visit Friday 6-8 pm and Saturday 9:45-10:45 am at the Russon Brothers Mortuary. Interment will be at the Farmington City Cemetery.
