Bert Emil Johnson passed away peacefully in his home in Midvale, Utah, on September 29, 2018. Bert was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on May 25, 1938 to Emil Hilvert "Jack" Johnson and Martha Lenora Jensen Johnson.
Bert and Jeanne Boggess were married on June 1, 1970.
Bert is survived by his wife, Jeanne; his children, Eric (Arian), Jeff (Paige), and Jinger (Clint); seven grandchildren, his sister Marilyn (Don) and brother Bob (Carole).
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m. at the Midvale East 6th Ward, 7250 S. 300 E. There will be a viewing Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St, Midvale, and also Thursday one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
