West Jordan, UT-Bin He passed away on October 30th due to complications from kidney cancer. She was born in Harbin, China on June 26, 1947. Shortly after her birth her family moved to Beijing, China. She married Zhenyi Huo and later divorced. She served in the Chinese army as an English translator. After her service, she continued to work as a translator for the Chinese Writers Association. During the late 80s, Bin came to the U.S. to study and graduated from BYU with her master's degree in International Relations. Bin worked for the Little America and Grand America hotels for over 25 years in the cash office. Bin loved to travel and enjoyed time spent with her family. She will be remembered for willingness to help out people in any way she could. She is survived by her son Jia (Stacie) Huo. Her two grandchildren Jaci and Max Huo. Her brother Yong Di Fu (Cheng Fong), sisters Dong Dong Fu (Peng Ran Lee) in Beijing and Ling Ling Ho (Richard Young) in Madison, WI. In honor of her final wishes, a funeral will not be held. A celebration of life is scheduled on November 18th from 1pm-4pm at the Little America Hotel. Longer obituary can be found at MemorialUtah.com.
