Dean Burnham
In Loving Memory
Our Mother, Grandmother, and all-around sweet lady who was loved by all, left this world peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was born in Murray, Utah, to Karl C. Dean and Dorothy L. Lamb, and lived in Germany and Mexico during some of her formative years before settling down to raise her family in Hunter, Utah. She was married to Bruce A. Burnham on February 12, 1955.
She retired from Hercules Aerospace. She was an example of service to many through the Lady Jaycees, Lady Lions, and to others in need. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many capacities.
Mom was a true inspiration and role model showing unconditional love and kindness to all she encountered. Even in her last days of enduring pain and hardship, she showed a special kindness to her caregivers and visitors. She brought our family together through holiday traditions and outdoor activities, such as camping and fishing. She was the centerpiece of the bond our family shares.
She is survived by her sisters Linda (Jim) Wagstaff, Diane (Bruce) Hansen and Karen Dean, along with her four children: Bonnie (Joe) Mirci, Brent (Jacki), Bryan (Michelle), and Brad (Teresa), eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband and parents.
A viewing will be held at Valley View Mortuary 4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, Utah, on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at 11 am, with funeral to follow at 12 noon.
