Adam Lee Strickland of Denver, CO, departed this life on Thursday, July 26, 2018. He was born February 17, 1979 in Houston, TX, to Sue Hicks Strickland of Houston, TX and Carson Mart Strickland of Highlands Ranch, CO. Adam was a graduate of Bellaire High School and received his bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineer at Colorado University at Denver. He was an electrical engineer with Eaton Corp. in Denver, CO and an avid mountain climber. Adam loved the outdoors, reading, knitting, music and being with family and friends. He was easy going, had a dry, quick wit and an infectious laugh. Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents Edith A. and Maurice L. Hicks and Mary C. and Carson M. Strickland.
His memory is cherished by his parents; his wife, Kate Joy Strickland of Denver, CO and Foster daughter Amber; aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. A memorial was held to celebrate Adam's life on Sept. 8, 2018 in Chautauqua Park, CO.
