Betty Jane Stowe
1930-2018
Betty Jane Davis Stowe went to be with the Lord August 16, 2018. She was born in Hempstead on August 15, 1930 and raised in Elliot, Texas. She moved to Sharpstown in Houston, Texas in 1956 where she and her husband, Leon raised their family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon; son, Ron "Bubba" Stowe; and parents, Clarence and Norma Davis of Elliot.
She leaves behind her sons, Kenneth Stowe and wife Mary Ann, Don Stowe and wife Carla; daughter, Marlene Harding and husband Randy. "Grandma Stowe" loved spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Stowe Rodriguez and husband Frank, Allen Stowe, John Michael Moses and wife Brittany, Matthew Harding; great-grandchildren, Luke, Jake, and Emma Moses, and Hayden and Harrison Rodriguez.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in the Miller Funeral Chapel, 7723 Beechnut, Houston, Texas 77074 with a visitation one hour prior.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Yuval Raizen and the wonderful staff at Sugar Land Oncology Consultants and the Harbor Hospice Staff for the care and compassion shown to Betty Jane and her family.
