Dr. Ali I. Mese
1953-2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Ali I. Mese announces his passing on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Ali received his Bachelor of Science from Istanbul Technical University, and his MS and PhD from The University of Texas at Austin all in Petroleum Engineering. He worked in the oil industry for over 30 years and has been a recognized pioneer shale and geomechanics expert mentoring many throughout his extraordinary career. He will be dearly missed for his profound technical knowledge, his innovative thinking, compassion and generosity.
Ali's interment was held in Golden, Colorado on August 25, 2018. A memorial reception in celebration of Ali's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Houstonian Manor House in Houston, Texas.
