Anna Mae Hogan Dye passed away in Houston, on Wednesday, the 3rd of October 2018, at her home of twelve years, the Buckingham Community. She was 96 years of age.
She enjoyed her life at the Buckingham where she made many friends. Her two closest friends, Margaret Hare and Mary Siegel, were her dinner companions every night. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her children and grandchildren, but she absolutely adored her very special great-grandchildren.
Anna Mae was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf at Pine Forest Country Club for over fifty years where she earned the honor of Club Champion in 1974.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Roy L. Dye, Jr., who passed away in 2012. She is survived by her children, Patricia Donahue and her husband Jim, Bruce Dye and his wife Darlene, and Barbara Norris and her husband Chip; grandchildren, Lee Norris and his wife Kara, Jeff Dye and his wife Jennifer, and Carly Ramsey and her husband Justin; and her great grandchildren, Merritt and Linley Norris, Andrew and Thomas Dye, and Reese, Reagan, and Vivian Ramsey.
The family wishes to thank Anna Mae's wonderful doctor and friend, Michelle Cunningham, M.D. and all the staff and friends at the Buckingham for their love and care for her.
