YARBRO, Audrey Audrey Ann Achilles Yarbro, 90, born January 15, 1928, in Dallas, TX to George and Leota Achilles, died October 6, 2018, in Piano, TX. She graduated from Sunset High in 1945, attended North Texas State (UNT) Denton where she met her husband, Robert Yarbro whom she married on February 26, 1949. She worked for the Department of Agriculture in Fair Park, the Magnolia Field Research Labs in Duncanville, and the American Bible Society in downtown Dallas. She lived in Dallas, Norfolk, VA., Baltimore, Boston, and Houston for 41 years when her husband was sent by Texaco, Inc. to these offices. In Houston she was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Houston Tuesday Musical Club for 25 years. Music was her passion throughout her lifetime, and she enjoyed attending symphony, opera, choral, vocal, piano, and musical theater performances. From early childhood she played the piano for churches, clubs, family and friends, and for retirement communities and nursing homes in both Houston and Dallas. She moved to Richardson in Feb 2010 to be near family and to Piano in 2018 due to health reasons. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years in June of 2014. She is survived by her sisters Margaret Dougherty, Richardson, TX, Barbara Bell, Addison, TX, brother George Achilles III, Burleson, TX, and several nieces and nephews and their children. There will be no service. She will be buried in the Mausoleum at Restland. If desired, memorials may be made to .
