Cecilia "celi" Paciello

Faleceu

PACIELLO, Cecilia "Celi" Cecilia "Celi" Paciello of Plano, TX, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2018 surrounded by family and friends. She was born April 23, 1954 to Powell and Mary Pickering in El Dorado, AR, as the youngest of three daughters. Prior to moving to Dallas, TX, she attended Henderson State University where she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority. Shortly after moving to Dallas, she began her career as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines, where she proudly celebrated her 40th anniversary earlier this year. On November 22, 1989, she welcomed her one and only child--a daughter, who was her pride and joy--with former husband Tom Paciello. She is survived by her daughter, Delani Paciello, as well as her sisters Janie Griffin and Julieann Pickering. She is preceded in death by her parents. Celi was a loving and devoted mother as well as a talented pianist who loved entertaining, decorating, and anything red. She never met an animal she didn't like and dreamed of starting an animal rescue once she retired. She was dearly loved by her many friends and had an infectious, unrivaled spirit that made her the life of every party. Though her life ended far too soon, it was a life complete in so many ways. The world is a better place for her having lived, and we are better for having known and loved her. A Celebration of Life in her honor will be held in Plano on Sunday, October 14th from 1-4pm.
