OATES, Alice Fay (Brook) Passed away 9/29/18. Her love of color and flowers was evident in her gardens and paintings. Musician, cancer survivor, artist and traveler, she is survived by husband Norman of Dallas, TX; son Stephen (Colleen) of Garland, TX; daughter Debbie (John) McGrath of Fox Lake, IL; granddaughter Erin (Marshall) Sheffer of Libertyville, IL; 3 nieces and nephews, 2 great-grandchildren and many cousins. A memorial service will be held 10/7/18 at 2pm at First Presbyterian Church, 271 N. Walton St, Richardson, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the , Texas Winds Musical Outreach or the Alice Fay Oates memorial fund at First Presbyterian Church.
