HAGEMAN, Barbara King Born May 19, 1927 in Manhattan Kansas, daughter of Dr. Herbert H. King and Susan Grace Dickman King. Her father was Head of the Chemistry Department at Kansas State University and her mother was awarded the Medallion Award by the Kansas State Alumni Association for humanitarian service. Died August 12, 2018 in Dallas. Grew up in Manhattan Kansas, and graduated from Kansas State University in 1948 with a Bachelors degree in Business. Member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone prior to raising a family. Married Lawrence (Larry) West Hageman in 1955, who passed away in 2011. Lived in Dallas since 1963. She was an avid golfer, and with Larry enjoyed cruises and other travel vacations. Active member of Brookhaven Woman's Golf Association for some 50 years, including President in 1983 and Ladies Club Champion in 1986. Survived by her sister Shirley Sikes, her children Steven Hageman (Mary Ann) and Susan Buller (Stuart), her grandchildren Hannah, Greg and Katherine, and her niece Stephanie Sikes.
