CHESTER, Alma Doris Alma Doris Chester, known to her friends as Doris, was born in Eustace, TX on September 17, 1928. As a woman with drive and impeccable taste, she propelled herself into the world of fashion. After modeling for Neiman Marcus in the 50's and 60's, she went on to be a personal shopper for both Niemen's and Lester Melnick's for many years. A fervent lover of dance, she won many ballroom dance competitions and performed dance exhibitions representing a prominent Dallas dance studio well into her 60's. She eventually retired to a life of charity work and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by her son Paul Wright, daughter Linda Wofford, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grand-children. She will be missed by all. Services will be held Dec. 3rd 12:30pm at Wildwood Chapel, Restland with visitation Dec. 2nd from 2-4pm.
