BAGIACKAS, Angela Angela Bagiackas, born December 13, 1926 in Utica, NY to Demosthenes & Adriana Bagiackas, passed away October 5, 2018 in Dallas, TX at the age of 91 years. A graduate of Jackson Von Laudou school of Fashion Design in Boston, Mass., Angela worked with many clothing & fashion designers in New York and North Texas. In the early 1950's, Angela led the gift-wrapping department at Nieman Marcus, designing the gift wrap and coordinating the department. Well known in her field, Angela was mentioned in a book written by a French Author on gift wrap paper sculptures. Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved sister, Joan Bagiackas Lardas and her brother, Socrates Bagiackas.
