Angela Weissman
'Happy, loving, compassionate, intelligent, and strong'
Angela Weissman, 97, of Randolph, N.J., was born in Morelia Michoacan, Mexico. She died at her beloved home in Randolph, N.J., on Oct. 12, 2018, tended lovingly by her son, David Weissman.
As Angela requested, her ashes were scattered over the graves of her beloved son, Bruce Weissman, and husband, Nathan Weissman, both of whom died in an auto accident 51 years ago. Angela survived the same tragedy after three months in a coma, and went on to raise her three remaining children and send them to college.
Ruth 1:16-17 Psalm-23 - A firm believer in G-d despite the tragedies in her life, Angela was a member of the Jewish faith, but on her own terms.
Angela loved gardening, flowers, and her prized orchid cactus. She was an avid reader up to the last days of her life. Always learning, she spoke two languages and understood four. She attended college course at CCM, and was a hospital volunteer. She was an avid investor, and loved Animal Planet and CNBC. Angela was happy, loving, compassionate, intelligent, and strong. She was a survivor.
Angela is survived by her son, David Weissman; four grandchildren: Alyssa, Nathan, Trevor, and Rylie, and two daughters, Anita Bailey and Denise Cook.
May she be in peace, at last.
