Warehouse foreman, Howell resident, prouldy served in the Navy
Albert Edward Venezia, 86, of Howell, N.J., passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, N.J.
Viewing will be held on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 9 a.m. at Holy Family R.C. Church, Lakewood, N.J., followed by the interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J.
Born in Newark, N.J., to the late John and Margaret Venezia, Albert was a graduate of Westside High School in Newark. After starting his family, they moved to Howell in 1962. Mr. Venezia worked for many years as a zone warehouse foreman for Goodyear Tire and Rubber in North Brunswick, N.J., retiring in 1996.
Mr. Venezia proudly served in the United States Navy.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lillian, in 2013 and his brother-in-law, Thomas Russo.
Surviving are his loving children, Albert M. Venezia of Howell, Deborah DeLisi and her husband, John Joseph, of Jackson, N.J., and Donna Jenzer and her husband, Jeffrey, of Jackson; his brother-in-law, Ralph Russo and his wife, Christine; his sisters-in-law, Loretta Meehan and her husband, Jack, and Kathy Russo; his six cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Danielle, John, Noah, Anthony, Nicholas and his wife, Jennifer; and his two great-grandchildren, Madeline and Nathan.
