Retired salesman, avid sports fan and coach, of Brick, 70
Alan Tramutoli, 70, of Brick, N.J., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018, at his home, with his loving family by his side.
Alan was born in Jersey City, N.J., and lived in Kearny, N.J., and North Arlington, N.J., before moving to Brick 15 years ago. He was a graduate of Our Lady Queen of Peace grammar school and high school.
Alan was a salesman in the steel industry for over 40 years before retiring in 2011.
He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Knights of Columbus, Brick Elks and former commissioner of North Arlington Board of Recreation. He was a Queen of Peace football and softball coach for more than 20 years and a 2004 inductee into the Queen of Peace HS Hall of Fame.
Alan was an avid sports fan who enjoyed golfing, the New York Giants, Yankees and Notre Dame football. Above all else, he treasured time with his family, especially being surrounded by his three beloved grandchildren, attending their school and sporting events, going to the beach, or having a family dinner.
Alan was predeceased by his parents James and Mary Tramutoli; two brothers, Gus and Jim Tramutoli; and a sister, Maryann Tramutoli.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Tricia (nee Mahony) of Brick, and a loving daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Daniel Freschi of Brick. Alan is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Skyler, Chase and Chloe, as well as several nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, from 2 to 6 p.m., at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Rd., Manasquan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, at St Dominic Church, Brick. Cremation will be private. To send condolences to the family, please visit www.orenderfamilyhome.com.
