On Oct. 23, 2018, Bernice B. Shaw of East Orange, N.J. transitioned peacefully.
Visitation will take place on Monday, Oct. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Faith Temple Original Free Will Baptist Church, 499 Main St. (at Halsted St.), East Orange. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m. at the church, where friends may also visit from 10 a.m. until time of services. Interment is at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, N.J. Arrangements are by Woody "Home For Services," Orange, N.J.
Bernice was the wife of the late Bishop Frederick Shaw; beloved mother of Frederick Jr. (Monica); devoted grandmother of Simone and Frederick III, and loving great-grandmother of Taj. She is also survived by her cherished nieces, nephews, and other relative and friends.
