Caring family man, enjoyed annual trips to his native Italy
Antonio Sacca, 87, of Elizabeth, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, surrounded by his loving family at home.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral from the Corsentino Home For Funerals, 620 Second Ave., corner of John St., Elizabeth, on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at 8:15 a.m., thence to St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Elizabeth, where at 9:30 a.m. a Funeral Mass will be offered. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Entombment will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, N.J.
Antonio was born in Calabria, Italy. He married the love of his life, Maria Antonia Condina, in 1956 and in 1966 they moved to Elizabeth, N.J. Antonio worked for Tuscan Dairy for over 25 years before retiring in 1995. Antonio was a devoted hardworking family man. He enjoyed taking trips to Italy every year with his family. He will be greatly missed by all.
A caring and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. Antonio is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Antonia Sacca; loving children, Anthony, Stefano (Delores), John (Louise), Tina Siclari (Anthony), and Luiggi (Laura); cherished grandchildren, Stefanie (Michael), Michael, Brian, Juliett, Antonio, Gabriella, Gianna, Isabella, Luiggi, and Lucca; one treasured great-grandson, Joseph, and sisters, Cathy, Maria, Frances, and Fanny. Antonio was predeceased by four brothers and one sister.
