Anne O. Lundgren, 73, of Andover Township, N.J., died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, at home, surrounded by her family.
Born in Philadelphia, Anne moved to Andover Township 40 years ago. She received her BA from Newton College of the Sacred Heart in Boston, and in her later years received an associate degree in pastoral administration from the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, N.J.
Anne was the parish administrator for St. Joseph R.C. Church in Newton, N.J., for the past 10 years and was previously the parish administrator at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha in Sparta, N.J.
Active in many community clubs, Anne was also a member and past president of the Andover Township school board. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and playing bridge.
The daughter of the late John J. and Virginia (nee Scott) O'Keefe, Anne was predeceased by her husband, Charles Andrew Lundgren, on June 24, 2016, as well as her brother, John O'Keefe II, and her sister, Karen Morrison.
She is survived by her children, Eric Lundgren and wife, Sarah Rose of Takoma Park, Md.; Kristen Lundgren and husband, Jamie Hockin of Victoria, B.C., Canada, and Patricia Lundgren of Caldwell, N.J.; her grandchildren, Emily and Anna Lundgren, Juliana and Alyssa Hockin, and Jordan Lundgren; and her brothers, Scott O'Keefe and Barry O'Keefe, both of Philadelphia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 24 Halsted St., Newton. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton.
