Anthony V. Kromka
Army veteran; longtime JCP&L employee
Anthony V. Kromka, Ret. U.S. Army, of Boonton, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018, after a brief illness. He was 85 years old.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave., Boonton, N.J. 07005 on Friday, Nov. 30, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena R.C. Church, Mountain Lakes, N.J. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson, NJ. Please omit flowers.
Born and raised in Montville, N.J., Anthony was the son of late Joseph and Mary Kromka. He joined the U.S. Army and retired as a 1st sergeant.
After his honorable discharge, Anthony worked for JCP&L in Morristown, N.J., for many years before his retirement in 1993.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Anastasia (Uhrbach); devoted daughter, Elizabeth Paup and her husband, Daniel; loving grandchildren, Casey (Brian) Barger and Jeremy Paup; cherished great- granddaughter, Kelsey.
