Albert Barkev Kilarjian
Engineer, beloved husband, devoted father and grandfather
Albert Barkev Kilarjian, former resident of Maplewood, N.J., passed away on Nov. 5, 2018 at the age of 89. Albert worked for many years as a mechanical engineer for the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. He was married for 55 years to the love of his life, Mildred. Together they raised four wonderful children and had seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and family for a visitation on Sunday, Nov. 11 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the William G. Basralian Funeral Home, 559 Kinderkamack Rd. in Oradell, N.J. Funeral services will be on Monday, Nov. 12 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leon Armenian Church, 12-61 Saddle River Rd. in Fair Lawn, N.J. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, N.J.
Albert is survived by his beloved wife, Mildred; devoted father to Carol Kilarjian and her husband, Dave deCastro, Nancy Powell and her husband, Scott, Laura DelRosso and her husband, Joseph, and James Kilarjian; cherished grandfather of Grace, Caroline, Nicole, Danielle, Rebecca, Christopher, and Serena; proud brother of Ann Kolligian and her husband, Richard. Albert will be missed by all who knew him.
