Charles Albert James Sr., also known as "Carlos" or "CJ," 95, of Linden, N.J., passed away Sept. 26, 2018, at Delaire Nursing and Convalescent Center in Linden.
Services will be onTuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at 11 a.m., at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 1002 Rivington St., Roselle, N.J. Visitation will be at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Cremation is at Rosehill Crematory, Linden.
Charles was the husband of Hattie Brown James; father of Charles James Jr. and Dominique Brown-James, and grandfather of Katherine James.
He retired from Walter Kidde in Newark, N.J.
