Alice E. Hill, 71, of Toms River, N.J., passed away on Nov. 3, 2018.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley, N.J., at 4:30 p.m. Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. The cremation services will be private.
Born in East Orange, N.J., the daughter of Alice I (Shanahan) and Bernard J. Tinsdale, Alice lived in Nutley prior to moving to Toms River. She was a graduate of the East Orange General Hospital School of X-Ray Technology; prior to her retirement, she worked as an X-Ray technician.
Alice is survived by her beloved husband, Donald W. Hill; two children, Geoffrey M. and Lindsay A. Hill; her granddaughters, Jocelyn and Raquel Hill; her sister, Annemarie Vitale, and her brother, Bernard Tinsdale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. John's Church "Feed the Hungry," 22 Mulberry St. Newark, N.J. 07100 would be preferred.
