Beloved family matriarch
Carmela N. Guerriero (nee Guerriero), 95, of West Orange, N.J., passed away on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018.
Visitation will be at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, N.J., on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, from 3 to 8 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Orange, N.J., on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, at 10 a.m., followed by the interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Born in Avellino, Italy, Mrs. Guerriero was a resident of Orange, for many years before moving to West Orange more than 20 years ago.
The beloved wife of the late Lorenzo Guerriero, Mrs. Guerriero was the loving mother of Carmine and his wife, Josephine, Franco and his wife, Debra, Antonio and his wife, Anna, Claudio and his partner, Kathleen O'Neil, and the late Pio Guerriero; dear sister of Giuseppe Guerriero; cherished grandmother of Carla, Lawrence, Carmela and Anthony, Franco, Philip and his wife, Jenea, Cristina, Christopher, Daniel, Peter and Bianca; loved great-grandmother of Anthony, Jayden, and Amelie and adored step-grand and great-grandmother to Nicole, Daniel, and Alan, and Devin. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews in Italy.
Mrs. Guerriero was also predeceased by her parents, Vincenzo and Rosaria Guerriero, and her sisters.
