OREGON WI- Anne Depree Reisig, age 81, of Oak Park IL, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, at Sienna Meadows in Oregon, WI. She was born on Aug. 26, 1937, and spent her formative years in Zeeland, MI. The daughter of Stanley and Winifred (Mills) DePree, Anne married Carl Reisig on June 20, 1959. They raised their family together in River Forest from 1972 through 1992 when they retired to Oak Park. Anne was a professional opera singer. She sang in the chorus of the Lyric Opera of Chicago for many years and had the wonderful opportunity to perform as a soloist all over Chicago. She was also an active member of Pilgrim Congregational Church where she sang in the choir. Anne was a caring mother, not only to her own children, but to the many children she fostered over the years. She was selfless and generous with her love. Anne is survived by her husband, Carl; daughter, Laurie (Terry) Riss; two sons, Tyler Reisig and Tim (Jeana) Reisig; four grandchildren, Brad Riss, Greg Riss, Simon Reisig, and Spencer Reisig; and brother, Jack (Sally) DePree. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Anne's life will be held at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 460 Lake Street, Oak Park, IL 60302 at 1PM, on Saturday, November 24th.
