Ann Irving, 84, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 in Long Grove, IL. She was born November 18, 1934 in Ashland, Ohio and received her Bachelor degree in Elementary Education at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Ann was a former elementary school teacher and special education teacher in West Virginia and Chicago. She was a member of the Community Christian Church in Lincolnshire, where her husband was the minister for many years. Ann and Rev. Irving married in 1984 and moved to Dallas, TX for 12 years. They returned to serve once again at their church in Lincolnshire in 1997 and retired in 2004.Surviving are her 2 children, Jane (Brian) Eaton and Frank (Mary) Myers; 3 grandchildren, Christopher Eaton and Samantha & Morgan Myers; 2 step children, Joy Snyder and Rebecca Irving; and by 3 step grandchildren, Travis (Erin) & Marisa Snyder and Sara Casa Gande.She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Lola Winbigler, her husband, Rev. Nelson Irving in 2018 and by a sister, Nancy Boylan.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Community Christian Church, 1970 Riverwoods Road, Lincolnshire, IL. Reception following services at church. Arrangements by Burnett-Dane Funeral Home in Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the church memorial fund.
