DONALD CARLETON WHALON  
Donald Carleton Whalon was born, May 4, 1932, in Elizabeth General Hospital, Elizabeth, NJ, to Harriet Milicent and Harold Bertram Whalon of Westport, MA. He retired from the Fairfax County Police Department in Fairfax, VA, and resided in Springfield, VA, later moving to The Villages, FL. Donald passed away on July 15, 2018, at Thrive at Deerwood in Jacksonville, Fl. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, sister, nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends. A celebration of Donald's life will be held August 1, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Waterfront Hotel, 1105 Lake Shore Drive, The Villages, FL 32162. Funeral Mass will be 8:30 a.m., August 2, 2018, at St Timothy Catholic Church, 1351 Paige Place, Lady Lake, Fl 32159. Donald will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery 11:30 a.m., August 2, 2018.
