CONSTANCE LYNN MALLORY THORPE (Age 74)  
On Tuesday, August 8, 2018, Constance Lynn Mallory Thorpe of Silver Spring, MD died at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD after a valiant fight against cancer. Dear wife of the late Edward E. Thorpe, Sr. for nearly 52 years; loving mother of sons Edward E. Thorpe Jr. (Adrienne) of Silver Spring, MD and Erick E. Thorpe (Shirleen) of Pasadena, CA.  Constance graduated from Hampton Institute in 1965. She was the Chief Financial Officer of Edward E. Thorpe and Company, a specialty construction firm she helped run with her husband and her son Edward Jr. for over 25 years.  Serivces will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Norbeck Community Church, 2631 Norbeck Road, Silver Spring, MD.
