She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Elbert Allen Smith; two daughters, Sandra Gammons (Charles) and Doreen Rainey (Reginald); two grandsons, Shemuel and Jakob; and her partner in crime and caregiver for the last two years, her dedicated sister-in-law, Nevada Smith.
