Anne was born and raised in Oakland, California. After graduating from Skyline High School, Anne attended University of California at Davis. She later earned a Masters Degree in Zoology from San Francisco State University. Her passion for conservation education blossomed into a successful 20-year career at several Zoos and Wildlife Conservation organizations throughout the world.

Anne loved to travel and was always ready for a wild adventure. Many of her trips were for work where she helped to create conservation education programs in Uganda, Papua New Guinea, Guatemala and countless other countries.

After her retirement she continued to explore the world with family and friends, but what she loved most was spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Anne is survived by Clifford Warner, devoted and loving husband of 40 years; Son Ross, with wife Caitlin and their son Jack, of Moraga, California; Daughter Emily of Seattle, Washington; Son Tom, with wife Christi and their children Ellie and Luke of Danville, California.

There will be a private celebration of life with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to The Wildlife Conservation Society and The Jane Goodall Institute.
