January 1928 - December 21, 2018 Albert Stein was born in the Bronx in January, 1928. He passed away on December 21, 2018 at the age of 90 in Los Angeles. The picture is of him at his 90th birthday in Los Angeles happy to be with his family which meant everything to him. He was a graduate of Stuyvesant High School, a graduate of Columbia University School of General Studies, and received a MBA degree from Pepperdine University. He was very much loved by his two daughters, Laura and Sharon, and by his grandchildren Preston, Sara and Adam and his son-in-law Steve. He lovingly took care of his wife Sarah when she battled cancer while raising his daughters and going back to college to receive a degree. His passion was travelling to many countries, volunteering for cancer awareness and donating to charitable humanitarian organizations. He supported his family first as the owner of a bathing suit factory, which he took over from his father in New York's garment district. At the age of forty-nine Albert moved to Los Angeles to care for his mother and started a new career as a management analyst for the City of Los Angeles. His grandchildren acknowledged his guidance and encouragement of gentle suggestions and concerns for everyone's well being. The paths they will take in the future are paths forged by his compassionate interest in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He will always be remembered by his friends and family and everyone he meet for his unselfish kindness, his sense of humor and his remarkable intelligence that fueled his unending search for knowledge and understanding of the world.
