Beloved aunt, Mountain Lakes centenarian, 101
Angela Commarato, passed peacefully Nov. 27, 2018, one day after her 101st birthday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at 11 a.m., at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish, Mountain Lakes, N.J. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Visiting hours will begin at 9 a.m. Monday morning at the Norman Dean Home For Services, Denville, N.J.
Born in Caldwell, N.J., Angela lived in Mountain Lakes for most of her adult life. She worked for the Standard Container Co. for 45 years.
She was a devout Catholic and was an active parishioner of St. Catherine's.
She donated much of her time to the Book Barn and enjoyed her time there.
Most recently, she had lived at the Oaks, where she participated in community activities and made new friendships.
She was a wonderful aunt to her nephews and always enjoyed spending time with her family. Although we are saddened by her passing, we celebrate a life well-lived and 101 years of love and friendship.
Predeceased by her siblings, Rose, Mildred, Paul, Joseph and Anthony, she leaves happy memories to her nephew, Paul and his wife, Marge, and many more friends and relatives.
