Caryl Marie Amorim (Swails), age 61, of Clermont, FL (Formerly of North Brunswick, NJ), passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 peacefully surrounded by her beloved family and her dog, Mya. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend, aunt, and dog-mom. She was a retiree from AT&T, having worked there for many years in the Information Technology and Billing Departments as a Project Manager in New Jersey. She was a dedicated green thumb and little red sports car enthusiast. She had an affinity for traveling, having visited many states across the U.S. and Caribbean. Caryl is survived by her daughter, Michelle Parikh, of Jackson, NJ; her son Keith Amorim, of Jersey City, NJ; and their father, her ex-husband Dennis Amorim, of Newtown, PA. She is survived also by her son-in-law Hemal Parikh of Jackson, NJ, and four grandchildren Austin Parikh 16, Makayla Parikh 11, Jaida Parikh 8, and Damon Parikh 5, all of Jackson, NJ. Caryl is survived by her siblings, Sharon Trachsler, of The Villages, FL and Robert C. Swails, of Foxborough, MA. She was preceded by her brother John H. Swails. She was the beloved daughter of the late Robert H. Swails and Josephine M. Swails (Becker). Caryl is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In line with her unique way of living life and according to her wishes, there will be no public viewing. There will be a private ceremony in New Jersey at a future date.
