HODIN, ALAN JAY With great sadness, the family of Alan J. Hodin announces his passing after a long struggle with cancer, at the age of 69. Alan was born in Scranton, PA as the first child to William and Faye Hodin. He lived his early years in Scranton, received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University and his law degree from the University of Miami. Alan made his home in Miami, where he practiced law for over three decades and enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be forever remembered by his children Ali (Chris) and Max (Maran), by his sister Cindy (John), and his three adoring grandchildren: Adar, Charlotte and Vanessa. A celebration honoring Alan's life will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 12:00 p.m., at Flanigan's Seafood Bar and Grill in Coconut Grove.
