ALPHONSO A. BRIDGEPORT (Age 98)  
On Friday, October 26, 2018, Alphonso A. Bridgeport of Washington, DC, passed away at his home. Alphonso served in WWII and was a graduate of American University. He was active in his church and several civic organizations. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice N. Bridgeport; son, David A. Bridgeport, D.D.S.; and three siblings. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Christina Bridgeport and her husband, Cornelius Grady; grandson, Cameron Grady and extended family and friends. Visitation will be held, Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1500 Ninth Street, NW, Washington, DC.
