Alicia B. Hernandez was born on November 3, 1953 in Zacoalco de Torres, Jalisco, Mexico and entered into eternal life on December 21, 2018 in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. She was the daughter of Guadalupe and Ramon Beas. She was the beloved wife of Phillip Hernandez, who she was happily married to for 38 years. She is survived by daughters Lene B. Briseno (Dove Canyon), Asgie B. Hernandez (Laguna Niguel), and son Adrian B. Hernandez (Laguna Niguel); grandchildren Nyah I. Briseno, Hannah A. Briseno, Matthew I. Briseno, and Victoria G. Briseno; her father Ramon Beas; sisters Anna Amador, Olga Motz, Virginia Garcia, and brother Mario Beas; son-in-law Albert R. Briseno, and Israel S. Gaxiola (fiancé to Asgie B. Hernandez).
Alicia was raised in the City of Commerce and graduated from Bell Gardens High School. She would later receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University Northridge, and an accelerated interior design degree from UCLA. Her diverse professional career took her into early child development and eventually interior design where she worked for various companies in the hotel industry.
Upon her retirement she devoted her time to serving in the Food Bank Ministry at San Francisco Solano Catholic Church and Holy Family Catholic Church, raising her grandchildren, spending time outdoors, and pursuing her love of art.
Alicia was a gracious and very beautiful woman. She was cherished by all her knew her, and she will be forever missed. May God Bless you forever and ever.
