Annie Bowens "Wray"  
Entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Her personal life was rich with love and very fulfilling after meeting the love of her life the late Samuel "Sammy' W. Bowens. Their loving union lasted 58 years, and produced three children, Stephanie Sahadeo (Avril), Darrell Wesley Bowens (Carla), and Paula Bowens-Saxton (Michael). She was a loving and nurturing sister to Eunice Assister, Donald Futtrell, John Futtrell II, Melvin Futtrell; Lottie May (Futtrell) Everett, Faytress "Hank' Hill, and June Perry. She was an adoring and loving grandmother to Nicole Mcrae and Marquice Royal, and loving and supportive to her many relatives and friends. She was overwhelmingly beautiful, kind, generous, compassionate, caring, but most of all she was humble in spirit. She would always say "leave someone in better shape than when you found them. She leaves indelible memories of a life filled with unconditional LOVE, LAUGHTER, SPIRITUAL OBEDIENCE, GRACE, WISDOM, STRENGTH, and JOY.Family will receive friends Saturday, September 1, visitation 9:30 a.m., service to follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Camillus Catholic Church, 1600 St Camillus Drive, Silver Spring, MD.
