Alec Cameron Paramus business owner and family man Alec Cameron, 77, of Paramus, N.J., passed away on Aug. 24, 2018 in the Valley Hospital. Family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug. 30 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Ave., Paramus N.J. He was the owner of Cameron Custom Carpentry, as well as a proud Paramus crossing guard. Alec was predeceased by parents, Dr. George and Grace Cameron, and brothers, Richard and James. He is survived by his brother, Dr. George L. Cameron, and sister, Ann Christie. He was the loving father of Alec C. Cameron, Jr. and his wife, Angela, and Maggie Leckey and her husband, Anthony, and dear grandfather of Scott, Doug and John Cameron, and Emily and McKenna Leckey.
