Arthur Monahan Beloved husband, father, and grandfather Arthur Monahan, 71, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, N.J., on Sunday, Aug. 26, from 2 to 6 p.m., with a religious service at 5:30 p.m. Cremation is private. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Arthur was a lifelong North Arlington resident. He worked for the Steamfitters-Pipefitters Union Local No. 274, Parsippany, N.J., for over 25 years before retiring. Arthur was an avid fisherman and loved the New York Yankees. He was the beloved husband of Judy (nee Meyers); the devoted father of Amy Monahan and her fiance, Carl Castlegrant, Maureen Leon and her husband, Hanniel, and Nancy Faneca and her husband, Carlos; the cherished grandfather of Logan and Jax, and the dear brother of Catherine Shibetti.
