Cammy Miklovik Gardner, age 70, passed away August 16, 2018 in West Valley City, Utah. Cammy was born March 10, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John George and LaRue Cluff Miklovik. She graduated from Granger High School in 1966. Cammy married the love of her life, Robert Gardner, May 31, 1969 in Atwater California. They were later sealed in the Oakland California Temple on May 15, 1970. Cammy loved spending time with her family and friends. When her kids were young, she loved to go camping and sight-seeing. Cammy worked at David Gourley Elementary where she started as a playground aide and then found the job that she loved as a librarian. She enjoyed reading to the kids when they would visit the library. She loved when she would cross paths with children that she had served in elementary school and they would recognize her and thank her for the difference she had made in their lives. Cammy loved to watch movies and always had a great time going out to dinner with family and friends. She really loved to spend time with her six grandchildren and have them sleepover. Cammy is survived by her loving husband, Bob Gardner; brother, Craig (Roxanne) Miklovik; son, Justin (Stephanie) Gardner; and six grandchildren, Lewis, Kyllie, Sophie, James, Raleigh, and Spencer Gardner. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and LaRue Miklovik; sons Jason Robert and Jarrod Jon Gardner; and daughter, Jamie Gardner. Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 22, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel, 4251 S 4800 W. The family will receive friends Tuesday August 21, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday August 22, 2018 from 11-11:45 a.m. at the same chapel.
